Holidays are coming

Holidays are coming … So what?

The holidays are coming.  So what?  Are we going to act any differently than the day before?  Will our houses be cleaner?  Will our hearts be softer?

What difference does the presence of the holiday season make in your life?  I spend a great deal of time dreaming ...  Wondering what tomorrow will bring, but not worrying about it.  I dream of being a little more patient with my children … a little more gentle with discipline decisions … a bit more thoughtful when making calls as a ref.

Holidays denote Holy Days … and what does one do to make a day holy?  Let’s remember each day, living it to the fullest … making positive strides, because each day, holidays included, is a gift from God, that is why it is called the present.  What you do in it is your gift to him.  Don’t forget the love of God, in your gift giving, this year.
