It's that time of year again, and people traveled everywhere to be with family and friends. We went to my sister's house, and the spread was laid. Well, we arrived there, late as usual. I'm working on that people! But that didn't deter hungry stomachs.
I can't speak for anyone other than myself. My plate was lined with wonderful delectable portions. I had baked macaroni and cheese, rice and stuffing with giblet gravy, collard greens, string beans, wonderful potato salad, a mini cornbread muffin, a small slice of turkey and some cranberry sauce.
I sat ... I ate ... And I slept ... All in the same spot. It was the best rest I've had in weeks. The funny thing is, I decided to eat dessert between naps. You see what time it is now. Everyone in the house is asleep, and I'm recalling yesterday's dinner. (I will be going back to help her get rid of leftovers). You don't appreciate them until you run out of food... LOL
Anyway, we finally finished editing the proofs, and believe me, I didn't know so much went into the process. I was more laid back last time. My team of editors did their thing, though. My hat goes off to you all.
Okay, so just get ready for the holiday season, and remember that each day is a gift from God. What you do with it is your gift to him. Thanksgiving is something we should do everyday. So, try and give more thanks than you take.
Be blessed, and Happy Reading!
