So, I thought I’d get a good night’s rest, just to see that’s is already Saturday morning, and I’ve only had less than an hour for the night. With deadlines on the way, along with a bit of anxiety, I’m faced with a serious hardship.
Many of us take homelessness or the lack thereof for granted. On a daily basis, we should realize that some of us are actually one paycheck away from living below the poverty level. I was told not to say, “I am poor.” But I am constantly reminded that I have no place to call my own.
For those of us, humble enough to grow from under cardboard roofs … let me hear you. I’m looking forward to breaking through! I’m a survivor on this journey, and I’d love to hear from you!
